'Grow With Me'

I created this painting around the themes of belonging and connection, thinking about how our most important relationship is with nature, which led to thoughts about how we attempt to train plants to our will, create protective structures and artificial environments, that are more fragile than the plants. This is an imagined structure, a home, a glasshouse overcome with and part of the wildlife.
